Solid Campground

We camped here in July and it was definitely hot, but cooled down at night. The campsite we had (#20) was great. Pretty large campsite, flat with picnic bench, fire pit, and large bear box. This campground was empty the night I stayed but camp hosts were welcoming and told me everything I needed to know. Campsite booked was near bathroom and a loud water something or other, but camp hosts were more than happy to move me to a new site. Beautiful land with manzanitas all around.

Directions

Antlers Campground is located 25 miles north of Redding from I-5 (which crosses over Shasta Lake twice). Exit I-5 at the Lakeshore Drive/Antlers Road exit in the town of Lakehead, CA. From the end of the ramp, go east at the stop sign. Turn right on Antlers Road and go about 1 mile to the campground entrance on the right.
