Burney Falls Resort

Sites at this RV resort sit closer together than some campers prefer, creating a more social atmosphere rather than secluded camping. The property accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups including 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. Reviewers note the campground stays busy and populated throughout peak seasons.

The resort sits approximately two miles from Burney Falls, making it a convenient base for visitors planning to explore the waterfall area. One camper described it as having "an excellent morning or evening adventure to the falls," highlighting the proximity for day trips. The on-site management receives positive mentions from guests, with one reviewer calling the camp host "awesome and worth the stay alone."

JL noted the site spacing creates conditions where "might not be the solitude you'd want to a multi day stay but was perfect and energizing for a night in transit." This assessment reflects the campground's function as both an overnight stop for travelers and a staging area for regional exploration. The property operates year-round and accepts reservations.

For extended stays in the area, campers can also consider Rim Camp (Sites 1-62) - Mcarthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park, located about a mile northwest. Book ahead during summer months when the waterfall draws heavy visitation.

Great Vibes for an In Transit Night

Great location on the way to many points north along with an excellent morning or evening adventure to the falls. Camp Host (owner/operator?) is awesome and worth the stay alone.

Sites are a bit tight so might not be the solitude you’d want to a multi day stay but was perfect and energizing for a night in transit!
