This National Park Service dispersed site requires high-clearance vehicles and provides no amenities or services. Campers must pack out all trash and follow Leave No Trace principles.
The remote location puts visitors in direct contact with desert terrain and wildlife habitat. Several other primitive camps operate nearby, including Indian Springs near lava field and 17 Mile Camp. Self-sufficient campers prepared for backcountry conditions will appreciate the solitude this undeveloped site provides.
