Named for the very large Jeffery pines that grace the site, Big Trees Campground is located along the banks of Bishop Creek and affords nice camping and fishing opportunities. Some sites in shade and some in open sunlight. Bear proof food storage containers available in the campground. 16 campsites.

Great spot! Spent 2 weeks here (not consecutively) and it was the cheapest with the most amenities in the area. Closest to service. Best restrooms, beautiful trees, protection from the wind, biggest sites, etc.
Great Little Campground
Nice campground with clean restrooms and several sites shaded by the tall Jeffrey Pines. Creek runs along the edge of the campground.

Directions
From Bishop go west on State Route 168 (West Line St) for approximately 9 miles. The campground is on the left just past the 7,000 foot elevation sign.
