Great facilities. First time at an Arkansas state park and impressed.
Village Creek has nearly 7,000 acres of forest hills, 33 miles of multi-use trails, playground for children, 2 lakes, Andy Dye designed 27 hole golf course, & visitor center & gift shop. The park has cabins as well as rv sites.
There are three main campgrounds: Loop A (no sewer hookups…

Tom Sawyer RV Park is located right along the Mississippi River. The entrance into the park takes you through a wooded area, which has beautiful scenery. Upon arrival they are doing contactless check in and have your car tag and park map located at the front office.
They have three areas to this…

Nice clean camp on MS River. Several clean showers and laundry facilities. Level pull through site with full hook ups.
This was such a nice relaxing place to stay. We met a park interpreter who was very nice and informative. We stayed in a small tent camping area beside one of the lakes. The hiking trail was beautiful and we saw several woodpeckers!
The park itself is OK, unless they get a lot of rain. My issue isn't with the park, it's with the management... We arrived on 30 April and paid for one week. The ONLY reason we chose this park was(1) the Navy base RV Park in Millington. TN was not open due to COVID-19 policy and(2) the Agricenter…
This place is a mess. And that’s the good news. Right on the interstate, behind a gas station. We had planned to stay at the campground across the interstate but they lost our reservations. Checked this place. Decided to keep moving!
This is an amazing park right on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River. There are two things I would change: 1. Dusty when dry. 2. Add more shade trees around sites. The bathrooms were clean and laundry was available.
Called at last minute for reservation because the campground we were at was a nightmare. The people here were so nice and accommodating. When we drove in we were so excited. It is right along the Mississippi River. Every site is pull through and has a view. Staff are so friendly. Just minutes from…

It was a pleasure camping in our RV at Village Creek. We were initially given a spot in loop A, but moved to loop B to be closer to the playground and lake. Loop A was about 2.5 miles away - park is huge! The bathrooms in A looked brand new and really nice. In B, they were more average, but I still…

So far so good, great views of the Mississippi River and the freight boats coming in. Wished they would add a dog park !
We stopped here for 2 nights along our travels. It’s right beside the Mississippi River and you can watch barges go by and hear trains in the distance. Clean shower house and free laundry is nice. First row is best to get the best views of the river.

This huge park and campground area were easy to find. Check in was a breeze and we headed to back-in site 56 with FHUs. Backing in was easy in this premium campsite with stand up bbq, separate fire pit and patio. The sewer is at the back of most of these long pads so you need about 20’ of sewer…

There's a smell due to the industrial zone right outside the park but, for a quick one night stay it ain't bad. We got a small spot, right next to the facilities which themselves, were okay. Planes go by regularly but didn't seem to be unbearably loud. The smell though...
This Arkansas state park is top notch. It offers a very quiet, immaculate campground with only 17 sites for RV hook ups. There are additional camping areas for tents, although one is closed for repairs. The Bear Creek lake surrounds the RV camping area on all three sides. There is fishing, small…
