The over all time was good. The showers had really hard water pressure. Stayed by the marina and had some problems with people coming in late with loud music.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Ouachita State Park! We stayed in space 55 and had a great view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets. Our friends stayed in space 1. It was more shady but didn’t have a view of the lake. The cell service was minimal (1 bar) but a cell booster gave us full…
Beautiful campground with spacious sites and easy walk to gorgeous waterfront views. Lots of trails. Very clean facilities and amazing staff. Loved this park.

Hike in electric spot that overlooked the lake. Easy to walk down and swim in the water!
There are showers & restrooms, grill & fire-pit, trash bins, & a beach swimming area.
40 minutes outside of Hot Springs but definitely worth the drive.
Upon first pulling up place seemed nice and peaceful however we shortly noticed the only people staying were obvious drug addicts. We felt our safety was at risk and we quickly packed up.. Bathrooms were unusable due to hornets. Lake water was not appealing smelt like dead fish was dirty and has…
We stayed here Spring Break 2021 and had a wonderful time. Our site was on the water at the end of the swim area. The kids spent hours in and out of the Kayaks on their own. Great hiking, close to Hot Springs National Park and some scenic overlooks, clean enough bathrooms. The campground was…

Just off the interstate. That’s all the good we can say. Was told we didn’t need reservations, just come on by. Even called ahead that day to confirm. When we got there I was thinking no way no how were we going to stay here. Bad vibe, very uncomfortable feel. Felt very unsafe. No one came out to…
It’s a great place. Quiet and beautiful right on Lake Ouachita. Very remote so make sure you have everything you need before you get out there because there aren’t any stores even convenience stores or gas stations nearby. Beautiful location and even better if you have a boat then you can explore…

Quiet place. Clean, more primitive and not developed. Does have flush toilets. Great place to go tent camping.

Really good location. Lots of sites almost all on or very near the lake. Swimming area and playground. Beautiful clear lake.

Great spot within walking distance of boat ramp for swimming. Bring your own trowel and TP because the bathrooms are full of wasp nests. Great quiet camping though!
Got the popup all setup, then discovered there was a large wasp nest in the electric hookup box. Had to break down and move to another spot in the dark. Not a great night. Bath house was little shop of horrors, pic attached.
The actual campground itself is really gorgeous with a few campsites that distantly overlook the lake however there is glass and trash all over from disrespectful campers who do not care to clean up after themselves however there are also no trash cans here so it's unsurprising.
Stayed on a…
Beautiful and for the most part a quiet campground. I was here on a Sunday night and it was fully occupied by 6:00 p.m. This is an Army Corps of Engineers Class D campground. No services, no electric hookups, and no fees charged. I stayed one night but would happily stay longer the next time I am…

We stayed in Loop C at the very back past the group campsite, which is tent camping only and a short walk from the bathroom. The campsites were more isolated and there was easy access to and great views of Walnut Creek. We had water access and trashcans in this area and every campsite was…
