Accessed via a one-lane dirt road with two entry points, one off Highway 260 and one off Highway 87, Twentynine Tank sits within Coconino National Forest outside Strawberry, Arizona. The road handles 2WD vehicles and accommodates larger trailers. Sites have room for good-sized rigs. Cell coverage is limited, with T-Mobile unreliable and most areas getting no signal at all. Tall trees provide heavy shade, which makes summer visits more comfortable. Bring a backup communication device, as connectivity here is not dependable.
