Best Glamping near Chambers, AZ

This is one of my favorite stops the site is always cleared and free of B's the owners are super helpful and very kind down to earth people . The star gazing is incredible, a astrologists dream truly heaven on earth people . This is a must stop and stay especially if you plan on seeing the petrified forest it's the very next exit . I would no doubt stay here every time I'm passing by.

We’re pretty much up for anything… but no, just no - went on to Holbrook and got a hotel with no worries for the same price.

Let me start off this review by saying Jason was an awesome site host! When we arrived there was some confusion as he was unaware of our booking and recommended booking through hip camp or air bnb as it’s cheaper but other than that the site was peaceful and clean. Also recommend being careful on the dirt/sand road, the morning we we’re leaving the site, our van got stuck in the sand on the road but Jason came to our rescue and pulled us out with a huge mad max style truck, Bassett hound by his side, no issue! Overall highly recommend this campsite just not booking through the dyrt.

Upon arrival you find yourself on a prehistoric lakebed, just nature. Away from it all on the off beaten path to get there but hey 1.25 acres for camping and exploring Jojo! Had a bit of difficulty finding this place and had to call Atlan a few times before we finally found it. In all honesty, this is really just a cow pasture near a big pile of abandoned tires(tv’s,vacuum,mattress etc.) and lots of freight trains w/ really loud horns. We arrived just in time for a huge amount of rain, hence the mudfest. Got bogged down and had a little difficulty getting out. If you’re really in need of a place to park for the night... and there’s nowhere else, this is a great spot. Lots of open sky. The host is very helpful and responsive. I wish I could leave a better review, as you can’t control the weather. It just wasn’t quite what we were looking for.

This RV Campground is great, one of the nicest, cleanest we’ve ever been too. The price was fantastic for what you get. We only stayed one night here and left wanting to stay longer. Everything is so clean and nice looking. Heated pool, BBQ dinner plate for purchase is available some nights. There’s a nice playground for kids. Although the kids were wanting to take advantage of the WiFi lol we were able to stream and download what we needed fast. We’d stay here again FOR SURE. Conveniently right off of the I40.

We were so pleased with our stay here! The property and facilities are impeccable. This is family owned and run. They are so friendly and accommodating. If you stay here, go to the outdoor snack bar for Mom's Apple Crisp at 730pm. It's out of this world!

The cleanest park we’ve been to yet. Showers, bathroom and laundry are spotless as well the campground itself. The owners daughter was extremely helpful and friendly as she checked us in. The store on site is pretty large. We will definitely come back!

This campground was exceptionally clean and a great place to stay. The staff was very nice, the sites are level and wide enough to feel comfortable. The children enjoyed the pool and we took advantage of dinner available on site. Very positive experience!

Called day of and was able to reserve a 30AMP spot with full hook ups $39. As other reviews mentioned it is exceptionally clean, there is pride in ownership and America with a life size carved memorial to the armed services. Great play area for kids, giant chess and a pool (closed due to Covid). They were selling homemade pie and pulled pork sandwiches at check in also which was a fun surprise. A few cute log cabins to rent also. All gravel and not a lot of trees, no view but a clean and safe overnight for sure!

This place is cool with many interesting things going on... I'd give it 5 stars if the pool was open but I kno it's not their fault!! Restrooms & showers were clean, everything seems well kept up! My pictures will show more details...

We needed a stop for our little crew and this place was perfect! Drive through spots, little play ground for kids and little decor that made it nice. We had a large tree and picnic table so we didn’t have to unload our table. All in all I would stay again for sure.

Not much here to write home about, but this park does offer a small, enclosed dog park, pool, a small grocery in their office building, and a “cookout” concession stand like you would find at a theme park or stadium. Their stage was being used to display a patriotic homage to the US military. No pets allowed in the amenities area. Room for improvement would be adding trees and cactus appropriate to this climate to beautify the park, because it’s pretty barren. Staff did not wear masks indoors during the rising Covid pandemic.

Called late to get a reservation and we were able to do over the phone. Very helpful and friendly. Perfect for a night pit stop, clean bathrooms and showers - great pressure and hot water. Hookups and wi fi was great. Would stop by again if we were in the area.

I tent camped here in Aug. 2020 after driving through the Navajo Reservation. I arrived before dusk in the fading heat. The staff was friendly and offered me a cheap brisket sandwich and maybe peach cobbler if there was any left. Well there was some left! I considered hauling it all the way back to El Paso but I’m glad I stopped for the night and got some good rest.

This is a really nice RV park on the West side of Gallup with easy access to I-40. It was a perfect overnight stop but would be good for longer stays as well. Access through the park is great, sites are gravel, level, and good size. We had a pull through site which was about 80 feet long and nice and wide. They also have back in sites and tent sites. We had a full hookup site and the connections were in great shape and located just where they needed to be. There are some trees between some sites but most of the area is pretty open. Some of the trees are large enough to block a satellite dish. They offer cable TV but we did not try that. They have free wifi which was decent. The restrooms, showers, and laundry rooms were clean and good size as well. There is a small dog park in the back and there is also a dump station. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also have a large gift shop and a small area with groceries. They offer a barbeque on some nights which is cooked right there behind the office. Cell service from AT&T and Verizon was great. We paid $37 for one night with Escapees discount. There is clear pride of ownership here.

We stayed here two nights, one going and one coming back. This is a clean, simple family run camp ground in Gallup, NM. It’s basically a large gravel camp ground with few trees, but very well maintained. There are like 177 sites, and very few long term campers here. We liked it for what it was and the price. Recommend it if you need a stop for the night.
