Description
Sitting just below the edge of the Mogollon Rim in Coconino National Forest's Mogollon Rim Ranger District, this dispersed area occupies open ponderosa-pine country at roughly 7,000 feet, with the cliff-edge just a short walk to the east. Multiple level clearings spread across a wide footprint, and a fire ring is already established on site. The forest tracks leading in are rough and best suited to high-clearance, shorter-wheelbase vehicles — a consideration worth keeping in mind when conditions are wet.
