The Mormon Lake General Store operates Wednesday through Sunday within walking distance, offering essentials, fuel, and water at 20 cents per gallon. Sites can accumulate litter from previous visitors. Holiday weekends bring increased activity and noise levels, while weekdays typically remain quiet. A barrier gate at the entrance may close the area seasonally, potentially as early as November 1st when Mormon Lake Lodge RV Park & Campground closes for winter.
