Franconia Road BLM Dispersed — Lake Havasu

Franconia Canyon cuts through BLM high-desert terrain in western Arizona just south of I-40, where a short sandy climb up Franconia Road gives way to flat, open ground with wide views and a broad horizon. Camping is possible both down in the wash and on the flat pullouts at the top — the upper sites retain cell signal while the canyon bottom does not. The access track is manageable for truck campers and similar rigs taken slowly, though the steep, sandy pitch warrants checking conditions before committing.
