Black Rock RV Village

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting in the open Sonoran Desert outside Salome, Arizona, Black Rock RV Village draws a steady mix of seasonal visitors and full-time residents who settle in for the mild winter months. Sites are pull-through and sized generously, with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer, and the campground accommodates rigs up to 80 feet. The terrain is flat and exposed, as expected in this part of the desert, with Southwest landscaping of cacti and palms providing some visual structure between sites.

The amenity list here runs longer than most RV parks in the region. A heated pool, multiple clubhouses, laundry facilities, a small cafe with limited hours, separate small and large dog off-leash areas, pickleball courts, horseshoes, and even a pea patch give long-stay campers plenty to fill their days. Paulette W. describes the setup as "very clean and well spaced lots," a sentiment echoed across multiple reviews. Nearby options like Desert Gold RV Resort and Brenda RV Resort give travelers a sense of how campground-dense this corridor along US-60 actually is.

A few practical notes worth knowing before arrival: cell service runs on LTE rather than full 4G or 5G, and WiFi is available at the diner and pavilion areas rather than at individual sites. The office closes on Sundays and shuts down at 3 p.m. on other days, though reservation details are left accessible near the office entrance. Rates run $40 to $45 per night. Campers who want access to campsites near Quartzsite and the surrounding BLM lands will find this a workable base for day trips west.

Wonderful

Really wonderful place. Reasonable prices. People are friendly, large pull threw sites, small and separate large dog off leash areas. SW landscaping with cactus’s and palm tree. They also have. Pool, 3 club houses and one of them is very large. They have activities through out the week. The have mail boxes as well. We love it hear. The only downfalls are internet and cell service is LTE and the office is only open until 3 and not open Sundays. I can live without all of that.

Excellent park

We called while inbound. Our site is clean, level and roomy. The cafe has limited hours. But will try it out tomorrow for breakfast. The pool is open, and heated. The staff is nice, the laundry facilities are very clean, reasonably priced and the office makes change. We had breakfast at the super cute Black Rock Cafe. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful long and wide sites with a picnic table

This campground dosn't have Wifi available for the sites but does have high speed in the diner and pavilion areas that are air-conditioned with nice workspaces. The kids loved the pool and there is a covered area that is shaded to sit and enjoy watching them. Nice staff but office is closed Sat and Sun but your reservation information will be available in a covered area by the office door. You can also receive your mail here! We only stayed 2 days but enjoyed them.

Lots of things to do!

Little privacy at each site which is to be expected in the desert. Quite a few full timers. Nice laundry, pool, dog area, pickle ball, horseshoes. There's even a pea patch for gardeners.
