Arizona Sun RV Park

Arizona Sun RV Park accommodates RVs up to 50 feet across 126 gravel sites with full hookups, though electricity charges separately at $0.20 per kWh. The park operates year-round but draws its primary crowd during winter months when extended stays from November through April require advance reservations from the previous year.

Staff receives consistent praise from visitors, with the manager Barbara earning particular recognition for helpful service. The facility includes clean shower houses, laundry facilities, and a community room that hosts regular activities, particularly catering to the ATV community. Sites run tight together, typical for this type of RV park layout. UPS and FedEx deliver directly to sites, though USPS requires pickup at the local post office downtown.

Cell service performs well for Verizon and T-Mobile users, providing speeds sufficient for 4K streaming, though the provided WiFi struggles with connectivity issues. Kirk E. notes the park "caters a lot to ATV community" with organized activities. Water pressure runs around 40 pounds, and pets roam a designated open area.

The location puts campers within walking distance of grocery stores, fuel stations, and the post office. Military and veteran discounts apply. Summer temperatures reach extreme levels, making air conditioning essential during those months.

Quiet stay

Was met by wonderful people when I checked in. Had a pull through location with full hookups. Water pressure at at about 40 lbs. Great neighbors and a wide open area for pups.

It’s Quartzsite. Quartzsite is Quartzsite.

Love the staff here. Barbara, the manager, is a real joy. She’s truly an angel and makes Arizona Sun special. Fees are a good deal, no complaints. Full hookups, but electric is not included in rent ($0.20 per kWh in 2025). Laundry, clean showers and community room with many activities with activities calendar. Caters a lot to ATV community. Sites are tight, no different than many others. USPS does not deliver, but UPS and FedEx does, direct to your spot. So make sure your Amazon orders are “SHIPPED” from Amazon. The post office in town does have many PO boxes. Free Wi-Fi is provided and I could connect, but unfortunately I could never get a useful speed. Other than towers being overloaded during the very busy season, Verizon and T-Mobile signals are good with speeds fast enough for streaming 4K video. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I was stuck in Quartzsite for over a year. You don’t wanna be here in the summer.

Very hot at the start

We stayed here a week because it was just too hot to boondock 112-118⁰F during the day and 84⁰F at 5 o'clock in the morning.

Not a lot to do while here, just sit in the shade of the air conditioning.

There is a nice laundry facility and a great staff.

They do charge separately for electricity. I can understand why.

Great but crappy wifi

The people here are really nice and helpful but trying to get the wifi to work was so frustrating that I took off two stars for it.

Big and small possibilities

We stopped in here this past spring in our return North. Really made for bigger self enclosed rigs, we made use of recharging our batteries (also showers and laundry) after several weeks of boondocks camping in our tear drop trailer. This year after selling our home in Reno we are here in our 25’ travel trailer spending some of the winter exploring. It’s got everything you need. Power, water and sewer. 126 spaces on a gravel lot. Close to grocery’s, post office and fuel. A lot to do in the surrounding area for day trips and close enough to bigger communities, Parker and Lake Havasu if you need a little more than what’s offered locally. Veteran/military discounts also extended stays (Nov-April) available if you make reservations the previous year. This will be our temporary home until mid spring then back on the road in April.
