Description
Tucked off Nabesna Road just south of the Tok Cutoff, this flat BLM pullout sits beside a small pond connected to the Slana River corridor — subarctic lowland country on the western edge of the Wrangell–St. Elias region. The site is quiet and spacious enough for trailers and larger rigs when unoccupied, but turning room is tight with even one other vehicle present, so scouting on foot before committing a long rig is wise. Mosquitoes, gnats, and horseflies are reliably heavy through summer; bug spray is essential.
