Tok Cutoff (AK-1) Dispersed — Tanana Valley State Forest

Description

The boreal edge of Tanana Valley State Forest holds this small pull-off, reachable via a short gravel track south of the Tok Cutoff (AK-1) at milepost 109, directly across from Eagle Trail State Recreation Site. A creek runs alongside the two informal sites, carrying enough sound to soften the occasional highway pass-by, with open mountain views beyond. The access road suits smaller rigs only and is not maintained through winter or early spring, making summer the reliable window for a visit.
