Description
This gravel-bar dispersed area sits along the upstream bank of the Knik River, framed by Pioneer Peak to the south and the old bridge corridor off the Old Glenn Highway. The open, flat riverfront offers expansive views of the surrounding mountains and ample space for rigs of all sizes when water levels cooperate. Access requires a river ford that varies dramatically with conditions — high-clearance four-wheel-drive is strongly advised, and the crossing can become impassable or genuinely hazardous during high water.
