H2Oasis Overnight Parking

This privately managed overnight parking area on Elmendorf Air Force Base provides basic amenities including restrooms, showers, and drinking water for $20 per night or free with facility admission. The lot sits surrounded by trees where moose regularly pass through, and campers may spot black bears or foxes in the area.

Reservations are available, and the facility allows pets and campfires with firewood for purchase. The location serves as a functional overnight stop for travelers, offering better conditions than typical urban parking options. RV campers can access the lazy river facility, making this setup work well for those prioritizing convenience over a traditional camping experience.

Not bad for a parking lot

If you are just passing through and need a place to overnight this is not the worst place in the world. There are trees all around the lot and there are regular moose passing through. If your lucky you might catch a glimpse of black bear or fox that live in the local area.

They offer free parking with admission which can include a shower or go in and talk a nice stroll around the lazy river. If you are going to stay in a parking lot. This is better than any other choice in Anchorage.
