Free and reservable, this hike-in shelter along the Pinhoti Trail sits within Weogufka State Forest at the trail's southern terminus. Road access to the surrounding area may require four-wheel drive depending on conditions. The three-sided shelter has a raised sleeping platform with room for roughly three people, a logbook, a picnic table, and a firepit. A creek runs alongside the site, providing easy water access. Toilets, firewood, and trash service are available. It suits Pinhoti thru-hikers and overnight backpackers staging from the southern end of the trail.
