Bankhead National Forest's Sipsey Wilderness holds a cluster of free, hike-in backcountry sites along Trail 203, and Site B is one of the more accessible options in the corridor. The site sits off the main trail, which provides some separation from passing hikers. It is notably level. One camper noted that the adjacent Sipsey Wilderness Backcountry Site (Trail 203 Site C) is more spacious, making Site B a reasonable fallback when that one is taken. Campers should also know that summer vegetation can make these off-trail sites harder to locate, so early-season visits tend to be more straightforward. Drinking water is listed as available, campfires are permitted, and pets are welcome at no cost.
