Palomino RV Resort

Clean concrete pads and full hookups define the experience at Palomino RV Resort, a well-maintained stop just off Interstate 65 at exit 305 in Cullman, Alabama. The resort sits roughly a half-mile west of the highway, making it a natural fit for RVers moving through the region, particularly those heading toward the Florida panhandle. Sites run $35 to $122 per night, which some reviewers note feels on the higher end for an overnight stay, though the condition of the facilities tends to justify the rate for repeat visitors.

Amenities go beyond the basics. Full hookups with 50-amp electric, water, and sewer are standard across sites, and the property also features a swimming pond, a fishing pond, basketball and tennis courts, fire pits, and picnic tables. Reviewers specifically mention "buddy camp sites," a layout option that works well for groups traveling together. Wi-Fi and cable TV access round out the setup for those who want connectivity between drives. Campers planning a longer stay in the region can browse campgrounds around Cullman to compare nearby options.

Cleanliness comes up consistently across reviews, alongside friendly staff. The grounds are well-kept, and the facilities appear to reflect regular maintenance. Reservations are available and recommended, as the resort draws enough traffic that sites can fill. Nearby alternatives include Good Hope Campground and Love's RV Hookup-Good Hope AL 877 for campers who want to compare before booking. For a reliable, well-serviced overnight stop with room for extras, Palomino is worth adding to the route.

Cute place

We stop for an overnight stay. The park was very clean and the employees were super nice. There was a swimming pond, a fishing pond, basketball & tennis court, fire pit, picnic tables. They had some really neat buddy camp sites.
