Sitting on a small ridge along the Chinnabee Silent Trail in Talladega National Forest, Site 5 is a hike-in dispersed site with two established fire pits and multiple cleared tent areas. It draws fewer visitors than the sites closer to Sipsey Falls. Hammock campers have good options here, with ample tree spacing throughout. Carry a water filter, as the nearest reliable water source is at the Sipsey Falls area further along the trail. Cheaha Falls Campground is a short distance away for those who want a nearby alternative with different amenities. No fee is required, and pets are welcome.
