This campground is nice for its location in relation both to Yellowstone's NE entrance and The Beartooths. Island Lake is beautiful, especially at sunrise, and is only a short walk from the campground itself.

Perfect Spot

We were sent here due to a forest fire close to where we were we had reservations. This is the highest campground around. So it stays nice and cool. So peaceful and beautiful.

Most amazing views

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. It was a great campground. Within walking distance to the lake, which made it great to go paddle boarding. There is also a store up the road about 1/2 a mile. This is a really beautiful area and a well maintained campground. Bring bug repellent, lots of bugs.

Stayed here for three nights and had an absolute blast. My only resin for it not being 5 stars is when looking for out in-laws campsite we went on loop an and almost tipped out camper with how bad the dips in the road were. Scary way to start our trip but other than that it was amazing

Great Campground in the Beartooth first come first serve, relatively small sites with good space between privacy amongst the Pines. The lake is beautiful.

Absolutely stunning... As we were leaving they said they were going to close the campground after next weekend (last weekend in August) 

It is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have ever been to.  
We paddled our dogs to the islands and had the best time, saw 2 firepits on one... the hiking scenery is amazing....
