Big Atlantic Gulch Campground is located near Lander, Wyoming, surrounded by open terrain with rolling hills and sparse vegetation. The area experiences temperatures ranging from lows in the 30s Fahrenheit in spring and fall to highs in the 80s during summer. Nearby attractions include Sinks Canyon State Park and the Wind River Range, offering opportunities for hiking and exploring natural landscapes.

The Big Atlantic Gulch Campground is in the South Pass area. It features 10 campsites, fire rings, garbage collection, water (weather permitting), picnic tables, and vault toilets. The site is ADA Accessible. There are seasonal closures and occasionally there is a host on site. Be aware, this is bear country!

The Best Lander, Wyoming Camping | WY Camping

This camp is right across the hill from the larger Atlantic campground. They are very similar in what they have and offer. It isn’t as big as the larger Atlantic camp which is nice to have less crowds. 

It is $6 a night which a a bargain for the site. You have lots of trees, picnic tables, fire pits, a bathroom and a hand powered pump! 

Very close to Miners Delight and Atlantic City. No service in the area.
