Mayflower Lake

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Nicolet National Forest includes Mayflower Lake among its free dispersed sites, set back in the woods with direct drive-up access to a picnic table and fire pit. The access road runs rough enough that a truck or SUV is advisable. Vehicles over 15 feet should not attempt the site. Anglers and paddlers will find the lake on-site, and those exploring campgrounds near Three Lakes will find several National Forest options in the same corridor. This site works best for self-sufficient campers in high-clearance vehicles who want free, no-frills lakeside access.

Very Remote Northwoods

Mayflower Lake is another free dispersed site that is set back in the deep woods. There is a picnic table and fire pit you drive right up to. The trail leading in a little rough and I would advise having an SUV or truck.
