Whites Gap Road Dispersed — Sleepy Creek WMA

Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area rolls across the forested ridges of the Eastern Panhandle, and this mid-slope pullout on Whites Gap Road sits tucked into that terrain near the saddle of Whites Gap. The rocky access road is rough enough that 4WD or AWD with good clearance is strongly recommended — a standard 2WD van can make it, but only just. The spot itself is flat and suits a vehicle and tent, though it can be overgrown; better-cleared sites with fire pits exist a short distance further up the road.
