Amazing Place for fun with Friends & Family

This was one of the best place to spend a long weekend with your Friends & Family. We booked cabin for group of 8 people, and room was pretty good enough for all of the members. They have plenty of activities to do including River Rafting. New River Gorge bridge was amazing specially Long point…

Perfect Site and Location for Exploring Fayetteville and NRG!

I would hands-down stay here again. I even considered asking if they needed some seasonal help!

I needed a place close to the town and gorge for a basecamp.

The fact that they had reliable WiFi throughout the park was a huge bonus for a remote worker.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and the…

Not bad

Great Campground, for tent campers there are vaulted toilets that are normally clean! We have returned here year after year. The upper sites you can get a faint ATT signal. The only downside is that during peak times( holidays etc) there were a bunch of sites with generators running all night…

Mountain Top Serenity

This mountain top ground, located between the Cranberry and Williams Rivers, has 60 sites located along a circle. The openness of the ground would allow for multiple families to camp with access to one another but they're not so close that it's intrusive.

Excellent tent camping

Overall the campground (tent camping) was very private and clean. The restroom & shower facilities were easily within walking distance. The facilities could use a deep clean but overall were fine. The only issue was the late check in (5pm) which caused vehicles to backup at the entrance. The…

Safe and pretty decent

Considering this is a parking lot for a retail store it had a lot to offer. Safe well lit area combined with water pump and dump stations for RVs. Good for one night stays.

Terrible for large Campers

The GPS led us up a gravel road with no signs for miles. Internet and cell service cut out within a mile up that road and we were not sure we were going the right way. The sights are on top of windy uphill mountain roads which we now call death mountain. Upon arriving, no one was as the visitors…

City campground for self-contained units

This campground is just up the road from the Beckley Town Exhibition Coal Mine and attached to the town park. It offers 17 campsites and as of the COVID pandemic, is open only to self-contained RVs. Site are close to one another, back-in, able to accommodate large rigs, include…

Water access anytime

Bring a kayak or tube to have easy access the the water right on the campground! Spaces had plenty of room to spread out. It takes about 20 minutes to get to stores so make sure you’re prepared. There is a store on property for things you’ve forgotten though. Signs say no alcohol on the lake. We…

Terribly Disappointed After 3 wk Stay....

They over charged me, I left at 10:40pm because of frustration with the campground shower house going on a week & 2-3 days, out of order. They wouldn't refund my $24.95 for the one night (mind u we stayed almost 4 was nightly) & asked for a refund because the raccoons broke our tent zipper…

Free!

Loud road noise, but for free electric hookup, it’s worth it.

Great Campsite

Literally the only downside to this spot was no cell phone reception for my niece and nephews to contact there parents and let them know how things were going. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around without disturbing anyone. And the sites were nicely spaced with plenty of wooded…

Nice relaxing area with a lot to do with the family.

Cedar Creek is quiet and clean. The trails are decently marked, and the fishing is on point. All the campsites are electrical hookups. 4 different bathrooms in the camp area. I definitely recommend this spot if you have kids.
