Gesundheit! resides on a 300-acre pristine tract of farm and mountain land in rural West Virginia, with gardens, meadows, creeks, waterfalls, a lake, and clean air and water. Our buildings are stimulating, yet the surrounding natural environment is even more inspiring. With more than two miles of trails through a beautiful hardwood forest, your stay can be spent in close proximity with nature. The beautiful Greenbrier River and an historic covered bridge is a 15 minute walk away. The small town of Hillsboro (birthplace of Nobel Prize winning author Pearl S. Buck) is 5 miles away.
Originally acquired by Patch and his fellow board members of the Gesundheit! Institute non-profit 501(c)3 in the 80's, this tract of land is the 3rd and final location of G!. The hospital/clinic here is only partially completed and despite receiving 0$ from the Hollywood movie "Patch Adams, starring Robin Williams, was funded thus far entirely by other donors and the hard work of Patch himself.

Directions
From Locust Creek Road, look for the gesundheit Institute sign and turn into the gravel driveway. Driver past the fire engine and first buildings on your left. You will see campsites on the left with picnic tables as you continue up the gravel road curving through our hayfield.
