Ten Mile Trailhead is located near varied terrain with forests and open spaces. The area experiences temperatures ranging from the 30s in winter to the 80s in summer. Nearby, visitors can explore the Colville National Forest and enjoy the scenic views of Sherman Pass.

From Republic, WA : Take highway 21 south 7 miles to forest road 53 (Scatter Creek). Turn right on to forest road 53, and follow it for 5 miles. Turn left on to forest road 5320 (Rattlesnake Road) for 1.5 miles. Turn left on to forest road 5320-100 for 1 mile. Trailhead is on the right side and marked by a trail sign.
