Skagit River RV & Camping

Description

We have been under new management the last 2 years. Formerly Alpine RV & Camping. Check out our newly remodeled bathrooms/showers, laundry facility and full hook up RV sites (30 and 50 amp) and our tent sites. We have our park tents and a more rustic "Backwoods" Tent camping.

Skagit River RV and Camping is near the small, charming town of Marblemount and 20 minutes from the entrance of North Cascade National Park and close to great short and longer hikes in the Cascades area.

Check out and compare our amenities with other tent site locations - Showers, bathrooms, WIFI, laundry on site.

For the RVrs - full hookups, 30 and 50 amp service, septic and water. Pull throughs for RVs above 34feet and back-ins can accomodate your RV of 34' or below not including your truck. 50 amp is more limited.

We also offer nightly rentals - studio apartment and 2 fully furnished RVs for that camping experience.

Enjoy our basecamp for your hiking and exploring. We also offer many types of accomodations from sites for your own RV, tent sites and nightly rentals from our fully furnished RVs on site and our studio apartment.

Bikers also use the park and set up their tents as a base to bike the surrounding area or bike over the North Cascade Pass to eastern Washington.

We have a wooded park-like area is located behind the campsites for dog walking and nature walks. We are pet friendly if your pet is friendly.

The surrounding area offers hiking, bird watching, fishing, spectacular photography opportunities, bike riding and climbing trails.

The Skagit River has a wild and scenic designation and is a popular river for rafting, kayaking and canoeing. We partner with a rafting excursion company for the Skagit River in late June - mid September.

Winter activities include bald eagle watching, fishing and hunting.

Great River access

Quiet and spread out. Plenty of hiking. Great river access for fly fishing. Winery next door. Stayed in 31’ class c motorhome.

Easy

The campground is right on HWY 20 and just a few miles from the park. If you are not a hiker or just sight seer not sure what you do around here. The campground is well used and most are over nighters. A lot of tent campers, but they were all quiet. The laundry room is fine. The bathhouse is ok. I chose to use my trailer shower instead of the bathhouse because of all the tent campers. It’s quiet, peaceful and there are some nice views. Give it a try.
