Pataha Campground

Thirteen miles south of Pomeroy, this US Forest Service campground sits near Pataha Creek within the Umatilla National Forest. The facility provides full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections for RVs, along with drinking water, restrooms, and picnic tables at each site. Recent visitors note the grounds stay well-maintained with mowed grass between sites and some large trees offering shade.

Access requires navigating a rough driveway that can be difficult to locate, particularly at night. One camper reported finding a fence blocking the entrance, though this may have been temporary. Full hookup sites cost $35 per night as of 2023. For additional options, campers can explore campgrounds near Pomeroy or check nearby Forest Boundary Campground just over two miles west.

Great campground for overnight or a few days

Very clean and well maintained. $35 for full hookups (2023). Lawn between sites is mowed and kept looking green. Some sites have large trees for shade, each site has a nice picnic table.
