Paradise Pines

Description

Welcome to Paradise Pines!

Closest to the Paradise entrance to Mount Rainier National Park, our quiet and forested campground offers the perfect way to experience the Pacific Northwest.

With just two primitive campsites, Paradise Pines was designed to feel personal and peaceful—never crowded. Whether you're gathering around a crackling fire, waking up to birdsong, or heading out to explore Rainier’s trails, we believe Ashford is the perfect place to reconnect with nature.

We chose to keep things off-grid and low-impact. That means no electricity, water, or trash services—just the essentials: a tent pad, picnic table, fire ring, and fresh mountain air. Guests share access to a well-maintained communal porta potty, and we kindly ask that all campers follow Leave No Trace principles. It’s how we protect this land for everyone who comes after.

Whether you’re hiking the Wonderland Trail, chasing wildflowers, or simply watching the sunset through the trees, we hope Paradise Pines becomes your basecamp for mountain memories.

We’re glad you’re here.

Guaranteed to Return!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely perfect campsite! The spot was clean, private, and well-maintained with everything we needed for a comfortable stay—fire pit, flat tent area, and even restrooms nearby. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful, with easy access to trails and nature. It felt secluded but still safe and accessible. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make our stay great. One of the best camping experiences we’ve had—highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Hidden Gem!

We loved this spot! Beautiful location, close to the mountain, clean, and the port-a-potty’s were a great perk. The two pads are great if you have a bigger group.

Clean and private

Our family loves staying in private camp sites. With little kids you really can’t beat it! Paradise Pines was exactly what we were looking for. It’s quiet and private while being so close to Rainier! We loved our time here and can’t wait to come back next year!

Awesome Location Near The Park Entrance

My wife and I loved staying here for our trip to Rainier! It made it super easy getting into the park.

We loved the quiet nature of the site. Even though there’s a few cabins, it felt really private and peaceful. The site was clean, and the wildlife (deer) that wandered through every morning was delightful.

There is also a cool entrance to the river. Which was so peaceful and private! It was wonderful!

New and Convenient

We just stayed here about a week ago and it was a great time. Convenient that it is so close to the entrance of Mount Rainier NP made for a few easy trips to come back and forth in between hikes. Our dogs loved it and having 2 tent pads was super nice for our big group.
