Olympic NF Dispersed off Forest Road 2270

Description

Forest Road 2270 reaches a small roadside pullout on the wet western slope of the Olympic National Forest, situated just downstream from Wynoochee Falls in a quiet corridor of old-growth Douglas fir and alder. The spot holds one or two vehicles on a level pad beside an established fire ring, with the Wynoochee River a short walk away through the trees. Traffic on the nearby forest road is light outside of summer weekends, and the Wynoochee Falls trailhead is a short drive up the road.
