Skunk Creek/Quinalt Ridge Road

Old-growth trees line the pullout where Skunk Creek meets Quinault Ridge Road, a drive-in dispersed site managed by the National Forest. The area is large enough to accommodate several vehicles, and one reviewer parked a 25.5-foot motor home with room to spare, making it workable for rigs up to 30 feet. Campfires are allowed. The creek runs close enough that water sounds carry through the night, and no through traffic passes the site. Campers exploring camping near Amanda Park will find other dispersed options along this same ridge corridor, including Quinault Ridge Road Pullout a short distance southwest. Bring your own water and supplies, as no developed amenities are on site.

Private, Quiet Overnight Parking

This is a great pullout off of Quinault Ridge Road where Skunk Creek intersects. The pullout is large enough for several vehicles. We parked out 25.5 foot motor home and had plenty of space for other vehicles. The sound of the river was the only thing we heard all night. No through traffic We were surrounded by beautiful old growth trees and the smells of the forest. Don’t let the name Skunk Creek scare you away- it definitely doesn’t smell like skunk!
