Ball field camping spots

Overall very nice but you get what you pay for. Limited fire pits and spots are first come first serve and field is not regularly monitored. Bathrooms are portapotties and no shower facilities. Also it is across the road from main campground.

Quiet and cozy

We stayed at site number C10 A in our tent with our children. It was a larger site that sits next to the small creek. It was very pleasant and quiet. The bath house isn’t too far and was usually well stocked and clean. There is a playground next to a volleyball court and basketball court. A small beach with a large dock was available for use during the day as well as a boat launch and fishing dock. The weekends get very busy but during the weeks it is a cozy little community.

Unfriendly..

Checked in here after 3 weeks of travelling, before giving our rental back. The owners just seemed to glare at me on check in, were not friendly and were the only place in our travels to take a copy of our ID. They were not welcoming and we felt that they didn't want tourists there. The site is 90% residents with them taking up all the lakeside spots. Travellers get the sites by the road. There were only 6 full hook ups with the rest being dry sites. This felt like a Butlins holiday camp to us and would not recommend unless you're coming for the lake, which I admit, is very pretty. The owners don't respond to email correspondence either. After our book in experience, I didn't feel comfortable in attending to ask to cancel our last night so emailed them, as equally the office was shut, but alas I am still awaiting a response. I didn't want this site to be the end of our amazing trip so booked into a stunning hotel for our last night.

Awesome place!

I came for my birthday and had a great time. Staff was so friendly and helpful, and the place was clean. They have a little store in case you forget something and firewood that’s way cheaper than buying elsewhere. People were fishing, paddle boarding and swimming. I would absolutely go stay there again!

Nice and quiet

We are very late in the season and only stayed here for one night but it’s nice! I guess during a warm summer it’s nice to be here to swim in the lake. You can’t drink any alcohol here tho.

Partial hookup site

Quiet and beautiful, the dump site is out of commission but was told I could empty tanks at one of the full hookup sites, roads coming in are narrow. Staff is very friendly and beautiful lake access wit swimming and fishing docks
