Good little place

Only a few sites (6), but each has a fire ring and picnic table. Not very busy, but it is near a main road and there is some road noise.

Roza Campground on the River

Nice "fee" campground on the Yakima River.  This is and ending point for summer rafting trips that start near Ellensburg, WA and a great place for calm water fun.  Setup camp in a paved area with overnight fees around $15 per car/site.  There are established bbq/fire pits (its VERY dry in the surrounding country) and picnic benches.

Great spot on a calm bend in the river

Seems like there 5 or so spots, with a large picnic area on a calm bend in the river. Great location and 20 min to Yakima or 15 to reds fly shop.

Yakima River Campgrounds -Roza campground

Another great camping experience, this time at Roza. This is a BLM recreation area. So no electric, water, or sewage dump. But what a clean and well run place. The river is cold but very clear/clean. Site #3 has more shade later in the day, but all 6 sites are parking lot sections with picnic tables & fire pits. Early in the AM the fish are jumping, but this section is catch & release only in the canyon. I just love this canyon. ❤️
