Twenty-six miles west of the remote settlement at Eggnog, Dirty Devil Camping Area sits within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area near the convergence of the Dirty Devil River and Lake Powell. The National Park Service maintains this established campground with basic toilet facilities, though pets are not permitted on the grounds.
The campground provides access to the lower reaches of the Dirty Devil River corridor, where red rock canyon walls frame the waterway before it enters Lake Powell's northern arm. Campers can explore Hite Primitive Camping — Glen Canyon National Recreation Area directly north for a more undeveloped experience along the same river system.
