Description
Open BLM terrain high above the canyon country southwest of the Needles district, Harts Draw Road offers a pullout with wide views of mesa cliffs and high desert landscape, with Newspaper Rock just a few miles to the west. The access spur drops sharply off the main road and runs over mixed sand, slickrock, and embedded stone — high clearance is strongly advised, and caution at the entry drop-off is a must. Multiple vehicles fit, and the area is quiet after dark with minimal road noise.
