Fishlake NF Dispersed near Scipio — FR 093

FR 093 in Fishlake National Forest descends through a sheltered grove at roughly 6,000 feet in the rolling terrain east of Scipio, offering a noticeably calmer and more protected feel than the more exposed pullouts further up the road. An established fire ring, soft dirt surface, and scattered deadwood to the south make for an easy setup. The access road is generally passable for two-wheel-drive vehicles and has been used by rigs up to 30 feet, though ruts on the approach can make wet-weather travel dicey — and cattle share the range, so expect some evidence of their presence.
