A stand of trees along FR 624 in Dixie National Forest shelters this flat, open site, which overlooks a small pond and sits just a short drive from the Cedar Breaks National Monument rim. The terrain requires navigating around large rocks on approach, making it best suited to class-B vans or smaller rigs. Wildlife — including elk — frequent the area, and the sub-alpine setting at over 10,000 feet brings cool temperatures and genuine quiet.
