Nice Journey KOA

There are 2 KOA in this small city. The other KOA is closer to the main street and would probably be a better choice if planning to spend a few days but if like us you are just looking for a nice spot to spend the night this is a good option.

Simple

Smaller than the Lake Side KOA in town, but guest have access to facilities at both locations. Really appreciated the quiet location. Cabins are new with TV (local channels only), microwave and refrigerator.

Great campsite!!!

We use this camp sight usually about twice a year and each year it’s awesome. Easy to get in get out. Everything is clean the roads to the mountains are around the corner and the lake is very close by as well! Good all around.

Awesome for kids!

These sites are pretty dang close. This is a perfect place to go with family, because you basically share a site with the person next to you. We got to know our neighbors pretty good. Awesome place for kids. They loved all the activites available to them. Right close to the shops and ice cream shakes. You can ask for passes for the larger KOA down the street. This gets you into the pool and everything the big KOA has.

Nice and cute place

Nice area for RVs and camping. Bathrooms were so great. Pets allowed. One thing that I didn't like is their campfire. It was way too deep to cook for food. They don't have a grill on it so you may have to bring your own gas grill or stove. But other than that I would come back again. $40 per night.
