Peaceful
Nice campground with an upper section and lower section. There is a vault toilet on the upper section where we stayed that was very new. A big downfall is that as of last year they stopped selling firewood. That’s normally not an issue for us because we will forage and cut our own but the rain has been falling so all the surrounding fallen trees were wet. The sites are nice and big with foliage between to give added privacy as we like it.

Small & woodsy
Camped here for a night in early October, meeting people on their moto trip. Quiet evening in the woods. No cell service — downloaded maps around the highway turnoff to be able to navigate in the dark. Campground is small and sites are close; made friends with the neighbors. Woke up to rain and walked the trail to check out the waterfall and pretty fall colors!
Small, close camping but beautiful waterfall
The road out to the campground takes you out of cell service. Google maps directed us down atv trails. We suggest following the posted signs and taking the short but roundabout way.
The campground has all the sites in one small area. One is even in the middle of the loop. This didn’t add up to our idea of camping so we explored the area and then moved to a different campground. However there was only one site occupied so it might have been perfect to have the whole place to yourself.
Go a bit further and you reach the parking area for day use. This was quite popular with locals out for picnics. The trail to the falls is short but you can also explore the area. The falls are wondrous. We saw people cooling off in the water too. This is worth driving out to see. The area has many atv trails and even some horse trails.
