One of the best campsites I’ve been to!
This has been one of my favorite campsites. The campground is nice: level ground, lots of trees, CLEAN bathrooms and showers, and walking distance to a great swimming area that’s clean and unpolluted. Didn’t see any otters but still 10/10
Beautiful springs
When you arrive there is a check in at the office. We were tent camping and got us an unmarked spot next to the main spring. There’s a review here that there’s a hot spring which there isn’t. There are two springs here that one flows into the other so that distance between them may be 50 yards creates a shallow stream area that parents and there toddlers can sit down in the water which by the way is a cool 72 degrees year round which is wonderful during the hot summer months. They have hot showers heated indoor pool blue grass concerts lots of activities including volleyball. There are lots of trails with lots of wildlife. You can rent a canoe and take the spring run to the Suwannee River. The run is about 2 ft deep unless the Suwannee River floods in that case you can’t canoe it. The swamp there is absolutely beautiful with lots of large oaks and cypress. There is another spring there that’s called Little Otter that’s close to the river and accessible by foot. You need to ask at the desk how to get there. Otter springs is owned by the county and leased to a person that is making the springs a place for veterans to live.

Isolated and quiet, except when college kids party on a Saturday
Arrived here for a four-night tent stay at spot 110 after The Suwanee Music Park, in mid October 2020. Took several country roads to get here and was happy to put gas at that last gas station. The staff is very affable, and the sights along the Suwanee River are breathtaking. The restrooms are adequate. The fire pits don't have a grill: they are old truck tire rims. Lots of squirrels, and they say that raccoons are around, though none have been spotted. The camp store has wood for $6. The TMobile signal is zero. Verizon is good. Sprint is ok, but not good enough for a personal hotspot. The camp WiFi is erratic. There's a nearby boat ramp: photos of the river from it included. Don't stay at #110 next to the men's room. The slamming of the restroom's door will drive you nuts if you're trying to sleep.

Hidden gem with hot springs!
This private RV and tent campground has a gorgeous hot spring on site which flows into the Suwannee River. Recreation includes swimming, canoeing, hiking, biking and birding. Full hook ups, BBQ grills, showered and laundry available. There are also 3 cabins and an historic stilt house available for overnight stays.
