Littcarr Campground

Within the Army Corps of Engineers' Carr Creek Recreation Area, Littcarr Campground operates from April through October along the shores of Carr Creek Lake. This established campground accommodates RVs up to 54 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections, plus provides boat-in access for watercraft camping.

The forested sites offer electric and water hookups with what Kevin H. describes as "lovely foresty sites, pretty level." Campers consistently praise the facility maintenance, with multiple reviews highlighting clean bathrooms and high-pressure showers. The B-loop requires navigating a steep access road, while sites like #25 provide extra privacy and shade despite less-than-perfect leveling. A dump station serves RV campers, and laundry facilities are available on-site.

Cell service proves challenging across most carriers, with Verizon performing best among available options. The campground's location provides direct lake access for fishing and swimming, with a canal connecting to the broader Carr Creek Lake system. For additional camping options in the region, visitors can explore places to camp near Carr Creek Recreation Area.

Reservations are accepted for this $24-30 per night campground, which allows pets and campfires. The combination of full hookups, water access, and maintained facilities makes Littcarr well-suited for RV campers prioritizing lake recreation over cellular connectivity.

Nice campground ( as long as you don’t need tv or much mobile)

Definitely needed WeBoost to make data functional. Verizon worked best of my carriers. Visible had zut coverage. ATT and Cricket were usable with WeBoost. Stayed on B-loop - really steep road. Limited TV coverage. Lovely foresty sites, pretty level. Elec & water. Bathroom excellent, very clean. Nice to have high pressure shower. Did not have too much time to enjoy outdoors, which is a pity. But, don’t think I would repeat as I need cell coverage

Wonderful Family Campground

We stay here several times a year. Very clean facilities, friendly hosts, and a wonderful location on the lake. Site #25 is our favorite, though it could be more level, but the privacy, size, and shade are perfect for us.

Hidden Jem

Awesome, clean and plenty of space between camp sites. Bathrooms and showers kept clean and laundry was great. We stayed 2 weeks. You are always from Walmart, but there are several little stores for essentials. The canal at the park leads you to Carr Lake.
