Good Spot for the night

We arrived late, after midnight. It was super easy to find. Level pull spot. Thankful they called earlier in the day to tell me the spot #, because the envelope was not there. That was the only ding.

Definitely not a restful place to spend any time

Electric hook up does not work. Water outlet faces directly upward and requires a hose to access the water. It’s almost impossible to simply fill a kettle, as the water shoots straight up. Traffic noise is constant and LOUD.

Beyond Excellent staff

5 stars based on staff alone.  i feel horrible that i can't remember the gentleman's name.  we called on a saturday evening, got the voicemail and left a message.  within 30 minutes he called us back.  we told him we were just looking for an overnight stay that night.  we have a 40ft toyhauler + truck = 60 ft and would love a pull thru site.  it sounds like he actually drove to the campground to verify everything.  called us back again and booked us exactly what we wanted.  site was easy to find in the dark.  pull thru sites seem a bit tight, but worked fine.  we left at 8am so we only saw the very front part of the campground.  seems a little older, but nice and would stay there again.

I think it is an OK campground just to hot to tell

Ok seems to be well kept up. Has 2 areas short stay and long term stay. We got in at 1:30 it was 100. A little to hot to really walk around. Though the coolest place tobe is the restrooms and laundry, very nice, how long can you stay in.

They have a pool and it is used. Nice play area for kids.

Sites are gravel and very level, did not have to use our automatic levelers, impressed.

AR 7 PMit was still 100 but went out and got some video and photos.

Nice, clean, but very noisy next to Interstate

Nice staff. Clean sites. The only downside from my opinion is the close proximity to the Interstate. We stayed here for one week. I worked during the day using my T-Mobile / Sprint Hotspot. Great 5G signal. AT&T's 5G was horrible at times even though I had full bars. (not the campground's fault of course).

Nice bathhouse with washers and dryers. Close proximity to everything in the northern part of the city.

Call ahead and make sure your site has a fire pit and swing if you want one, otherwise, it is hit-and-miss.

Older Campground

It’s an older campground, but still had everything we needed for an overnight stay! Easy on & off the interstate (42 ft long fifth wheel).

Basic stay

Not very impressed with this koa. We came for a cattle show so didn’t stay much at the campground but they were infested with ants.

Cozy Campground in T-Town!

Cute and clean! Great for a few nights or longer. Pool, playground, laundry, and showers. The whole place is clean and neat. Easy to access from the I-30 service road, pull through sites available. We live in a 45' 5th wheel and had no trouble at all. FULL HOOK-UPS! 30 and 50 amp.

Just off the freeway

Small campgrounds with a pool just off the freeway. Quaint place, with porch swings on RV Site! Noise of freeway heard up til midnight! Staff are friendly, $44/ night.

Dr Jekyl and Mary Poppins

This campground was very well kept. The shower house and laundry building was very nice. The woman was very helpful for weary bikers, my husband and I. Rules for after hours was pay in envelope at check in or first thing in morning. It was rainy and cool we had been riding all day in poor weather. Tired, we thru up the tent and fell out. We woke around 8 am my husband didn't have correct change and in comes Dr Jekyl. My husband and I  found the exact change and all was well. We were both worn out and decided to stay another night when we approached the man my husband said look were road beaten and can we get the 6 dollars we were short the next morning this man literally kicked us off the property after he suggested we move to a site where trees will block the cold wind. So we moved and set the tent and things back up. The woman you could tell was embarrassed. And humiliated. She knew I was exhausted trying to beat the winter storms and snow. It could have been a very nice stay until Dr Jekyl appeared.

Clean but needs work

I stayed here last summer and I’ve never seen such a bad tick infestation. I reported it to the office so I hope they did something about it.

its a nice park if they deal with the problem
