Carthage RV campground

The park is good. Sites are mostly concrete and level, some gravel. The premium sites are longer and wider and easier in and out. Bathrooms and laundry clean. Management and staff nice.

Sites are perfectly level and concrete. Sites toward the front seem pretty close together, but sites further from the road are spread out more. Lots of permanent residents who seem to take pride in keeping their sites nice. The pool is tiny, but well maintained. Bathrooms are nice. While not really a destination resort, it is a super nice layover for a night or two.

Very quiet despite mostly long terms, lots of rules that keeps the campground clean, neat, and orderly. Not a great place for pets, walking area is rather small. Small stocked pond, fish were biting! Spaces are extra long, however made for a 5th wheel. If in class A with a tow, will have to unhook if you don’t have 25-30 foot long hoses.

It is clean and quiet. Sites are Large and spaced out nicely

I gave it a 4 because the hookups are locate too far back especially if you are pulling a car or trailer behind you RV.
