We came in late and they told us to just find an empty spot. Staff were great. Only thing I did not like was the swimming area. Full of Goose poo.
Even though my campsite was between the bathhouse and the playground (tent area 93) it was a peaceful stay. Would stay again but maybe not that .
It was nice and enjoyable
We spent a weekend here at the beginning of may. The weather was perfect. There are a good number of trees for shade. Our campsite was right on the water which was good for views but there wasn’t a lot of grass for our tent. The sites have fire rings but no grates to cook on. It was pretty crowded…
We love Bruton Branch. Specifically sites 28&29 they are the last of the site but it allows you to have your own little slice of fishing heaven as you are separated from the majority of other people. Right on the water and a breathtaking view to wake up to.

One of the nicest parks in West Tennessee but not for RV's over 26 feet. Great hiking.
A cozy lake. Friendly horses grazing. Long hot showers. Nighttime rain on the rv roof. Empty weekday bliss. Happy electrical help at 10 pm. A private pearl.
We brought our small Aliner camper here to primitive camp for the first time and we couldn’t have picked a better place! The campsites have been redone in the last couple of years. Fresh gravel and wooden railing. The bathhouse is clean and easy access from all campsites.
There is a small…

One of the strangest parks we've been to. There are two campground loops. One for trailers/RV's, they call it, and the Wrangler, equesterian. The trailer/RV loop is on the side of a hill. It was amazing the way they got so many half way level sites into this area. Very, very tight. Good thing for…
They have re-done a lot of the RV full hook up sites to be very nice. Plenty of space and privacy. The area is a little hilly which makes it a challenge for a little kids on bikes but the playgrounds are really nice. The Wi-Fi is pretty spotty probably because of the hills. Cell service is barely…
This was our first experience with Tennessee State Parks and found this park really nice! We stayed in site 11 which was AAA and level at the top. Only negatives were a steep incline to back into site, no cell service and pay as you go park WiFi. Overall a nice clean park!
Excellent campgrounds, for both tent and RV, and the lake felt amazing.
Was excited as we drove into camp. It looked beautiful. Our site has a beautiful view of the lake. Tent pad was mostly level. They say gravel- it was really rocky. Fire ring, standing grill and table were at the site. Ours was nicely shaded. Water spigot not to far away. Tent area restroom was…

Quick and easy getaway! Multiple spots to set up camp with concrete tables at each.
