Natchez Trace Wrangler Camp is located 2.2 miles south of I-40 on Hwy. 114. The Bucksnort Wrangler Camp features 62 campsites with electric and water, two bathhouses, and a dump station. All electrical hook-ups are 50 amps. Each site has a picnic table, ground grill, pedestal grill, lantern holder, water and posts to picket horses. There are 250 miles of riding trails in the park and forest. Campsites should be reserved online or by calling the park. Campers are requested to leave site clear of horse waste. Pets must be kept on a leash. Quiet time is at 10:00 PM. While this campground is open year-round, some campsites close after December 1.

The Best Camping Near Wildersville, Tennessee

The RV park was nice. Not alot of noise since it's back away from any major roads. The lake is very pretty and there is a swimming area for kids. I had a great time here.

Cozy and peaceful

There is not a bad site at Pin Oak Campground in NTSP. Situated on a lake with a dock available. Good fishing, swimming.

Mall sites are large and level and not crowded at all. Our favorite getaway close to home.

Big, clean. Plenty of room. 

We stayed at the Wrangler campground and it was terrible. They guy next to us basically brought his entire living room including his big screen tv blaring a baseball game. Definitely not camping. The park was ok but not for us. 

Wasted drive

We were just passing through and picked this park to stay the night in our 21 ft trailer. Wow! Super quiet, dark and cool the first week of October. (See photo) We stayed in the Wrangler site, which is typically for horses. (ATV’s not allowed) Trees haven’t changed yet. Would definitely come again. 

Quiet time !!

There are 3 different campgrounds in thos very large state park. Cub Lake is for tents or small campers with water &amp; electric hookups. The Wrangler Camp is for horse riders with water &amp; electric hookups. The Pin Oak Campground is for RVs. Every site has full hookups. Two nice bath houses, a pavilion, playground,  beach area, and boat dock. It is very open with several trees, but not not a lot of shade. The pictures in this review are only from Pin Oak Campground. 

Great place to relax & enjoy nature 

On the way back from Pickett State Park, to Texas, we decided to stay at the Wrangler site again. This time, I picked a new pad (56) and again, it was dark, quiet and beautiful. This park is huge, with TONS of site choices available. The tent sites seemed full, but we prefer less people. The updated photo below. We had to book through recreation.gov app, which was easy enough, but misleading on what sites are booked and not booked. Would absolutely return to this beautiful State Park. 


Park was so nice, we did it twice

This is for Wrangler Campground ( there are several others in the park) Completely Empty on a Fall Tuesday. Nice trails right out of campground . Meant for horse camping but no horses (or anyone but Host).
