Grand River National grassland

Part of the Grand River National Grassland, this dispersed camping area sits on open ground adjacent to a reservoir just miles south of Lemmon. The site requires four-wheel drive for adequate clearance, though the Forest Service gravel roads remain solid even after rain. Campers access the area via narrow gravel roads that lead to a large, undeveloped space where locals occasionally visit during the day for fishing and swimming in the nearby water.

The location sees light use overall, offering space for those comfortable with primitive camping conditions. Nearby Hugh Glass Campground provides developed facilities for campers preferring established amenities.
