Beautiful camping and beach

We stayed on the Live Oak side on site 111. Our site was kind of open but still great (since we were there for a meet up/group) but other sites are very deep and private. Bath house was clean although half the showers on the women’s side were closed so there was a line. Short drive to the beach or…

Fantastic Campground

Fantastic Campground located right on the beach in Edisto Island, SC!

First off, I've visited the state park since I was a child, but normally we would go to walk the long beach to the northern inlet area. This was my second time camping here and first time tent camping. It was a pure joy and…

Really well-kept quiet little state park

This one one of the cutest, most well-maintained State Park Campgrounds we’ve been to. The groundskeeper Larry is the nicest man and was so welcoming from booking to departure. You can tell he takes pride in caring for his site. There’s a nice big field for the dogs to play in and we were able to…

Love this park!

Beautiful RV resort for motor coaches. Beautiful landscaping. Each pad has its own style of landscaping rather than a cookie cutter mold. Lovely to walk around. Very dog friendly. Lots of recreation features. Has a dog wash for after going to the beach. Staff extra helpful and attentive.

Beautiful place

We stayed in the campground on the salt marsh. Beautiful live oaks shading camping areas. Great atmosphere. Lots of places close by to visit. Only about a 45 min drive to Charleston. Botany Bay was a fantastic experience. The only downside we experienced was we left out coolers outside and the…

Best beach campground

We love this spot for a spring get away before the heat and bugs are bad. We prefer the walk in tent sites close to the beach. Bathhouses are immaculate and recently remodeled. Camp store is super convenient. Gorgeous unspoiled beach. Great campground for the kids to bike around. Also a few trails…

A Whole New Level of Luxury

Spacious and lushly landscaped “condo-model” privately owned spaces combines with personalized designs for each space be it tables, umbrellas, and even rocking chairs. The resort is big but feels intimate. Pool is large, tennis courts and playground are all great and the best part of it all is the…

We keep coming back

Hunting Island is the perfect campground tucked among the pine trees and palm trees. It is very well kept from the campsites, to the bath houses, to the camp store, and even the beach area. Very dog and kid friendly! Almost always packed, so we book about a year in advance but we know we’ll keep…

Steps from the ocean

We had a magical time at Edisto. The Beach campground was just steps from the ocean. Opt for sites 1-12 or 50-75. Bathrooms were great. Shelling was incredible-especially if you walk towards the inlet around low tide.

Overrated - poor service

We stayed here twice in the last two months. First time was fine but not exceptional. The RV park itself is highly variable. Each site is owned by different owners and the RV park has rights to rent them out. None of the sites have fire pits. Some have chimneas. The sites are also maintained in a…

Loved it here!

Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. Spent two nights here. Our RV maiden voyage, trying it out before we hit the road. Tight spot with trees but exactly why it is so beautiful. Live oak trees, Spanish moss, cycling opportunities top notch. Great dog…

Cute little in the woods campground

This campground really is tucked in the woods, small but nice little place. Bathrooms are clean (didn't notice if there was a laundry). Guy that runs the place is a retired military (really nice guy) that lives in the area and knows all the good places. Seemed to have alot of cool fun stuff, but…

Awesome State Park!

I have visited this campground twice and LOVE IT!!! Sites are wooded and private. They all have picnic tables and fire rings. Some of them are beachside, others are Marshside but they are all pretty wooded and private. They also have great walking trails and a fabulous camp store! Great picnic…

Sunrises Galore

Love love loved this park. The beach was amazing sand and so clean. So close to the bathrooms with showers. The campsite was extremely well maintained. The camp store was more like a convenient store, they have everything. Trails everywhere. Amazing camping here!

This is a typical state park, not exciting, but mostly quiet.

The road going into the campground is horrible if you are towing a camper and full of potholes but is manageable. We are tent campers, so this didn’t affect us.

We tent camped in site #1, and the park was full this weekend. There are…
