A Relaxing and Pristine Weekend Getaway

Staying at Pat’s Place was a great experience! The campsite was exactly what we were looking for. It was off the grid but not too remote. We had easy access to things around us but a quick walk along a path brought us to a beautiful spot by the creek. We set up camp right along the creek, as shown in our pictures. There was a mixture of rocks and sand, so we had our tent on the dirt area and the fire pit near the rocks. Right around the corner from our site was a great spot along the river for sitting out in the sun and fishing for trout.

Pat was very helpful throughout our trip. He came down to meet us when we first arrived and was very friendly and had firewood available for us. He ensured that the pathway to the site was well-cleared before we arrived so it was easy to bring our things from the car, which only ended up being about a five-minute walk to the site.

We would highly recommend staying at Pat’s Place. It was a relaxing and pristine location and made for a great weekend getaway, especially for such a reasonable price!

A couple of pointers:

- Before arriving, we ate at Original Italian Pizza about 10 minutes away. They had great subs and we would highly recommend them!

- There is also a large Walmart about 7 minutes away for any camping needs.

- We had great phone service at the site and nearby (Verizon). There is no electric, water, or a bathroom but that wasn't an issue for us!
